This site lives through its users.
However, some rules are to be respected so that each user enjoys passing by.
! Some things are not to be said under any circumstances :- insults, discrimination, impairing someone's private life are forbidden ;
- infringing the rights of intelluctual property is forbidden ;
- posting pornographic or violent contents is forbidden.
Are you to disgress those rules, you shall receive a warning from the moderators of the site.
Three warnings will lead to the permanent ban of the user.
! About the deletion of accounts : if a user has not posted a single message in a week, his account will automaticaly be deleted. Indeed, the database of the site will literally explode if inactive accounts are not deleted. Moreover, this will force users to post
convincing thanks messages to the people working hard and uploading or translating the episodes, and thus providing
free services. We think a basic "Thanks" or "Let's see that" isn't convincing enough.
A warning can result from such messages.
! Flooding is tolerated as long as it doesn't disturb other users nor interrupt a conversation.
! Try to write grammatically and orthographically as correctly as you can. SMS-style messaging is to be avoided as much as you can : an unreadable message is not a message one would want to read... that's common sense...
! Try to avoid 3 Mo avatars and half-page-sized signatures too. A cute little picture and a sentence or two will do.
! Edit your posts if you forgot to say something or if you would like to add something and that you are the last person who posted in the topic.
! You can let us know about your non-commercial website in an appropriated topic. Anyways, right below your signature is the
www link which leads to the user's website.
If you ask for any help :
! Create topics with significant names, such as
"Codec issue under Windows".
! Avoid creating two different topics for the very same issue. You can check if your problem has already been discussed somewhere via the
recherche link.
That's the gist of it.
They are more like some things to be respected than rules, but we think it will make the site funnier to visit.
